UK trail centres provide some great riding, but if you don’t ride out in the wilds you’re missing something good. One of our guided mountain bike holidays will open your eyes to how good the riding on natural trails can be. And the scenery in the mountains is better too!
Ride spectacular trails, improve your skill & hang out in the evenings with like-minded people. And not forgetting comfortable, bike friendly accommodation to look after those well used muscles

For 2012 we have a North Wales trip starting with a skills day & finishing with Snowdon, an English coast to coast & a classic Lake District holiday. The popular 7stanes bike skills weekends are also still on for late 2011 & 2012. You can sign up to the mailing list to be notified first about any new additions & other news. You won’t get emails every day, just when there’s something to say! |
If you have a group of 4 – 8 riders together & the advertised dates don’t work for you, we can also arrange something around dates that are more convenient. You may have your own ideas for a great MTB holiday & just need a guide or coach. We’re always happy to chat about what’s do-able. The more notice you give the more flexible we can be
Skill levels?
The holidays with advertised dates are designed for intermediate & advanced riders, so they’ll be challenging in places. The North Wales trip includes a skills day at the start, ideal if you feel you need to brush up. If you’re new to the sport & you like the sound of the holidays you have a couple of options; firstly we’d recommend that you come on a skills day, to get your bike handling up to scratch & give you the confidence to take on much more. The other option is to get a group together & we can put together a holiday that suits your group. We’re as flexible as possible so let us know what you want & we’ll see what we can do
Accommodation
For the guided tours & holidays we use carefully chosen B&B’s. After riding decent distances for a few days you want somewhere to relax in the evenings. For the 7stanes skills breaks the focus is less on distance. Bike skills are the aim, so you won’t be quite so tired! So as it’s only 2 nights the accommodation is comfortable but more basic ‘Wigwam’ type to keep the costs down. You may be thinking of teepees, but these are more like a large wooden tent complete with foam mattresses, kettle, fridge, microwave, toaster & most importantly heating!
Booking
To pay for any trip you can contact us to pay by cheque or online transfer, or use the Paypal button in the info page for each holiday. To reserve your place pay the deposit shown (or the full price). The balance is required no later than 8 weeks before the start date
